The holidays are such a blessing to Springs Rescue Mission!
Between Oct. 1 and Dec 31, we get 44% of our donations for the entire year. Receiving all these gifts really is a blessing. But it's also a tremendous challenge.
Imagine getting that much of your income in just three months and then having to make it last for a year.
We stretch every dollar just as far as it will go. But sometimes, by summer, when donations really drop off, we start to feel the pinch. You see, people don't need less food or less shelter just because it's summer. Sometimes in fact, the needs are even greater!
So even though the holiday season is still months away, we really need help during the summer months so we can continue to feed and care for those in need.
