Thank you for your interest in serving the Colorado Springs community. Volunteers are vital to the heartbeat of Springs Rescue Mission. With the support of volunteers like you, together we can bring change in the Pikes Peak Region! To get started we need each individual to register by filling out the form below.
Adobe Flash Player not installed or older than 9.0.115!
Please follow these steps to start today:
The next available Volunteer Orientation is Saturday, June 9th, please fill out a volunteer application to reserve your spot today.
Register by filling out this form. (It may take up to 48 hours to process your information. Please look for a welcome e-mail from NeighborBase with upcoming Volunteer Orientation dates). If volunteering with a family or group, only the primary contact needs to fill out the form.
Attend an Orientation. Once the application is completed, individuals/primary contacts will need to attend a Volunteer Orientation. Come see who we are and what we do! In 60 minutes, you will learn the heartbeat of our ministry. You’ll discover the next steps to partner with us in serving the poor, hurting, and needy. (The orientation dates are listed in the welcome e-mail.). Note: Only after the orientation is attended will individuals and groups be able to volunteer with Springs Rescue Mission.
Serve. After you attend the Volunteer Orientation, you’ll receive another e-mail with your personal NeighborBase username and password. With those tools in hand, you can freely explore the available volunteer opportunities at Springs Rescue Mission. Volunteering is as simple as neighbors helping neighbors. We make it easy for you to give back to your community and improve the lives of the less fortunate!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT GROUP VOLUNTEER PROJECTS
* Group size: most of our projects are suitable for up to 15 people, but occasionally we are able to work with larger groups, on a case by case basis.
* Lodging and meals: we do not provide lodging for volunteer groups, but we do welcome all volunteers to join us for lunch, in the Samaritan’s Kitchen (please let the Volunteer Coordinator know if your group is planning to join us for lunch).
* Group scheduling: all group volunteer project requests must be submitted 30 to 60 days prior to the date of service. The only exception to this is the Samaritan’s Kitchen, which may have openings immediately. Volunteer opportunities for Samaritan’s Kitchen can be accessed on Neighborbase (you will only be able to view these opportunities once you've filled out the volunteer application AND attended a volunteer orientation).
By volunteering, you’re part of something bigger than yourself. Please join us at Springs Rescue Mission and help bring hope and opportunity to at-risk children, women and men of the Pikes Peak Region!
