Thank you for your interest in serving the Colorado Springs community. Volunteers are vital to the heartbeat of Springs Rescue Mission. With the support of volunteers like you, together we can bring change in the Pikes Peak Region!
Our next scheduled Volunteer Orientations are Saturday, April 25th at 3:00 pm and Saturday, June 13th at 10:30 am. We will be meeting in the lobby of 5 W. Las Vegas St., 80903 to begin each day. The orientation includes a tour of our campus as well as ideas of where and how you can volunteer with us. Orientations typically take about an hour and a half to complete.
Many of our volunteers find orientation to be a helpful place to begin. For those volunteers wanting to volunteer a couple times per month or more frequently, a Volunteer Orientation is a required part of the application process due to the nature of volunteer placement.

HOW TO GET STARTED...
Step 1: Prayerfully seek how frequently you would like to volunteer with us.
If you would like to serve with us one time, occasionally, or a couple of times per month, you will be a Partner Level 1 Volunteer. If you would like to serve more frequently, you will be a Partner Level 2 Volunteer most likely unless you are satisfied with the Partner Level 1 opportunities listed in that section. Please move to the appropriate “Step 2” for your availability.
Step 2 (Partner Level 1): Please complete the online form. The form will provide you with confirmation that the form was sent. The opportunities include the Samaritan’s Kitchen, Warehouse Warriors (receiving and sorting donations to restock the store), and Campus Projects.
Step 3 (Partner Level 1): Scheduling Yourself: Visit our volunteer login page. Using the email you provided on the online form and the password you provided, please log into your volunteer page. By clicking on the “Scheduling” tab, you can schedule yourself for any open Partner Level 1 positions. Finally, print off the appropriate sheet from the links below with all necessary reporting information:
Warehouse Warrior | Shelter Reset (available until April 16th) | Samaritan’s Kitchen
You may also drop off completed forms to our Administration Building located at 5 W. Las Vegas, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Group leaders please fill out the application on behalf of the entire group and see group instructions below under the “Group” section.
Step 3 (Partner Level 2): After your application is received, we’ll contact you for an interview. During this interview we will talk with you about current volunteering opportunities and discover the next steps you can take to join us in ministry. The Partner Level 2 Volunteer positions require a higher level of training and are not highlighted above. Please note, it may take 30 days or more to be contacted for an interview. In the meantime, please complete our online form listed in Step 2 (Partner Level 1) to begin volunteering in a Partner Level 1 position or volunteer at one of our events such as Easter Alive or the 5K Race. Thank you for your patience.
Community Service: If volunteer hours are required for school, church or work please fill out this online form. If court ordered or appointed by Discover Goodwill please contact the Programs Administrative Assistant, Patricia Garcia at (719) 314-2356, to schedule an appointment.
